It’s been a while since I have done this. Welcome to my end of the year 2020 public tweets retrospective!

Last rounds before tier 4 #TeamDelivery #WeAreTechNation

Again, the purpose of this series is for me to soak in the past few months. It’s for my own well-being and self-reflection. It’s been a challenging year and sending love and prays to anyone who needs it.

I’m going do this review a little different, instead of going month by month (because we would be here all day), I’m going to share my favourite 2020 highlights and lessons learnt.

Please check out Abi’s Tweet Highlights #5, covers January till March 2020. Additionally, please check out the CGV 2020 review here. I will not duplicate wins!

For most of you (depending on when your reading this) are stuck #LondonLockdown indoors! Nevertheless, the show must go on, and I promise I won’t talk about the ‘C’ word in this blog, just fill you with positive vibes.

Time to wrap up the 1st quarter of 2020, and review it all! Again, the purpose of this series is really for me to soak in the past few months. It’s for my own well-being and self-reflection.

Before I start the review, I wish to say we are all living in weird times right now, sending love and prays to anyone…

Happy New Year friends, and welcome to the last 2019 quarterly Twitter highlights!

For January to September self-reflection, please refer to Q1, Q2, and Q3 blogs.

It’s Black History Month, and I’m feeling ready to conquer the month. We kick off the month with me posting my 1st Vlog video. Super proud of the animation intro and overall video editing.

After many DMs via Twitter & Instagram, I have decided to repost my tech journey so far on my medium account. This was originally posted on Elpha. This post covers what sparked me into tech, my job roles/companies, lesson learned, takeaways and the #TechTea.

Elpha is where women in tech to talk candidly online.

The Journey

Early 2015, I remembered listening to this lecturer speak about her career in technology. She explained why she loved teaching, how technology will evolve in the future and the importance of why to be in the space now.

I was sold.

Last week, I decided to ask my Twitter followers about period pains and what they use and do. To continue the conversation, I have decided to do a research post about FemTech.

As a woman in my late 20s, I suffer from painful periods which has affected my productivity (averagely about 2/3 days every month), my career progression, and mental wellbeing. Since my tweet, the response I have received online and off-line has been incredible.

Hello, friends, 👋 It’s July and we just wrapped up Q2 and it’s time to review it all.

I will be also sharing some organisations to check out if you're interested in tech & start-up!

Again, the purpose of this series is really for me to soak in the past few months. It’s for my own well-being and self-reflection.

April

Started the month doing a lot of reflection and re-planning for 2019. Also, reconnecting with the community and catching up with friends.

As everyone knows, I left my full-time job back in March. It naturally ended and I had no more interest in carrying on working in government (for now).

Future plans of being a Prime Minister…

I’m Abi, and this is my serious face (in the above picture).

I have decided to share my milestones and good times throughout the year for my own accountability. The purpose of this series is really for me to soak in the past few months for my own well-being and self-reflect.

I do have a couple of announcements throughout this review — none hasn’t been publically announced yet. So, let’s go…

January

I kick off the year with this tweet (as shown below), as a little reminder to myself that I have full control of my story.

Sometimes, we all need a little reminder that some things are out of our control and what will be will be. …

It’s time to share my sparkles & joys with you all. 2018 has been a good year, Alhamdulillah.

At the start of 2018, I decided to record my “Goals for 2018 & a current check-up” video as self-accountability.

Shout out @Mass3ra and the @AGTGROUPCO team for inviting me down to record my goals for the year. Full video below.
